Sunscreen ads have been having a little more fun in recent years-- think of Nivea's award-winning kid-tracker, its solar charger and its helpful sun alarm. If anything, the work is much more tech-oriented.

Zealios skin care joins in on the good times and teams with TBWA Toronto for a new web application used to promote its Sun Barrier sunscreen. While a mobile app has yet to be made available in app stores, the brand asks smartphone and tablet users to pull up a sun-activated coupon on their browsers. Then, their mobile devices' ambient light sensors will pick up sunshine, granting them access to a 50 percent discount and sun safety tips.
