Social gaming company Zynga reaches out to the 40 million users of its most popular games to aid Haiti. Players of Mafia Wars, Farmville and Zynga Poker will be able to purchase special virtual goods, all proceeds of which will go to the World Food Programme, which has dispatched an emergency response team to provide food and relief to those in Haiti devastated by the recent earthquake.

Farmville gamers will be able to buy white corn that continues to thrive even when unattended, Mafia Wars thugs can purchase a Haitian drum, while Poker fans can buy a special chip package that comes with a rare premium item. Donations can also be made directly through Zynga.org.
